Scope and Applicability
The DPDP Act applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Odisha Community Network does not collect personal data through user registration or accounts, we may automatically collect limited digital data such as IP addresses, browser type, and usage patterns via analytics tools and server logs for the purpose of improving site functionality and user experience. This data is processed solely for legitimate purposes and in accordance with the DPDP Act.

Under the DPDP Act, the only digital personal data we may process includes:

- Pages visited and time spent on site (aggregated, non-identifiable usage data)
No names, emails, phone numbers, or other identifiers are collected unless voluntarily provided via our contact form.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process data based on:
- Legitimate interest in maintaining and improving our website’s performance and user experience
- Compliance with legal obligations under the DPDP Act
We do not rely on consent for automated data collection, as it is not required under the DPDP Act for legitimate interest purposes.

Response Timeframes
Under the DPDP Act, we are required to respond to your requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you of the delay with reasons.

We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP Act.
